Can I use an HSA or FSA to pay for my membership?

The quick answer is ‘yes’. Members have been using HSA and FSA cards to pay for services under this monthly membership model for years. However, we recommend that you check with your accountant. We are happy to speak to them if they have any questions. For some additional information see below:
IRS document 213(d) https://bit.ly/3esjusv
Makes it very clear that payments to physicians are an allowed deductible insurance.
Per IRS document 502, http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p502.pdf
Medical expenses are the costs of diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease, and the costs for treatments affecting any part or function of the body. These expenses include payments for legal medical services rendered by physicians, surgeons, dentists, and other medical practitioners. They include the costs of equipment, supplies, and diagnostic devices needed for these purposes.
For those reasons, we are confident that HSAs can be used in combination with DPC.
